Let us make all of your wishes come true on July 20, 2024 when you attend our first Princess Academy and Royal Tea.

Dress your Princess in training in her prettiest dress or gown and join our beautiful Belle of the Valley and her regal companions in the Grand Ballroom at Essex Station for an unforgettable and magical afternoon. 

Tiaras and scepters will be adorned with sparkling gems in the Courtly Creations Station, while perfect princess poise will be taught at the Majestic Finishing School. Every princess needs a happy tune to hum while she works and plays, so we will practice our favorites and learn some new ones before finally walking the red carpet to attend the Royal Tea aboard the Essex Steam Train. As we begin our promenade to the train, the Parent Paparazzi are welcome to take photos and videos from behind the velvet ropes and encourage our newly crowned royalty to show off their princess wave. Board your enchanted train car, relax and enjoy sweets and snacks fit for only our most noble passengers.

Knights will be gifted a magical sword to embellish at the Courtly Creation Station and learn some moves to help protect their kingdom.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Check in at Essex Station Ticket Window: 1:00 pm
  
• Train Departure from Essex Station: 3:00 pm (Trains can not hold for late arriving guests; trains do depart on schedule)
• $10.00 of each ticket price is a non-refundable, non-transferable processing fee
• Reservations are non-refundable, but fully transferable ($10.00 per ticket transfer charge applies) with 48-hours notice. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable for late arriving guests and no show guests .
• Meal Selections can not be changed within 48 hours of the excursion. Due to the limited kitchen space and provisions available on the train, no special menu alterations can be accommodated.
• Alcoholic and Non Alcoholic beverages may be purchased onboard train. No beverages, especially alcoholic beverages, may be brought aboard the train due to our liquor license

• Reservations will be assigned to specific tables. If you would like to sit with someone that has made a separate reservation please indicate in the notes section of your reservation. Maximum seats per table are four.

• For safety reasons aboard the moving train and to ensure a relaxing ride for all patrons, no infants, please; all guests must be able to sit in the dining chairs aboard the train.
  
• Reservations and payment are required.
• The Valley Railroad reserves the right to alter equipment, schedule, and menu when necessary.  Train does operate in all weather.
