4:30 pm: Boarding of Dinner Train

5:00pm - 7:00 pm: Excursion with three course meal. Watch out for the bandits!

Step aboard the Essex Steam Train for an unforgettable evening of dining, drama, and 1920s intrigue! Begin your night with cocktail hour on our trackside patio, then board the train for dinner as you travel through the beautiful Connecticut River Valley. But don’t get too comfortable—an unexpected turn of events soon throws the evening into chaos. A gang of vintage-era bandits is hot on your trail, and they’ve set their sights on your wallets! Not to worry—it’s all part of the fun. These goons are here to stir up some harmless trouble and collect donations for local charities. Will you hand it over with a smile, or will they have to turn on the charm? Either way, you’re in for a night full of laughter, surprises, and good, old-fashioned adventure.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Check in at Essex Station Ticket Window : 3:30 pm
  
• Cocktail Hour on Essex Station Platform: 3:30pm-4:30 pm
• Train Departure from Essex Station: 5:00 pm (Trains can not hold for late arriving guests; trains do depart on schedule)
• $30.00 of each ticket price is a non-refundable, non-transferable processing fee
• Reservations are non-refundable, but fully transferable ($30.00 per ticket transfer charge applies) with 48-hours notice. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable for late arriving guests and no show guests .
• Meal Selections can not be changed within 48 hours of the excursion. Due to the limited kitchen space and provisions available on the train, no special menu alterations can be accommodated.
• Beverages are not included in $169.99 per person fare
  
• Alcoholic and Non Alcoholic beverages may be purchased onboard train. No beverages, especially alcoholic beverages, may be brought aboard the train due to our liquor license

• Reservations will be assigned to specific tables. If you would like to sit with someone that has made a separate reservation please indicate in the notes section of your reservation. Maximum seats per table are four.

• For safety reasons aboard the moving train and to ensure a relaxing ride for all patrons, the Great Train Robbery is limited to passengers age 21 and older. No infants, please; all guests must be able to sit in the dining chairs aboard the train.
  
• Reservations and payment are required.
• The Valley Railroad reserves the right to alter equipment, schedule, and menu when necessary. The Essex Clipper Dinner Train does operate in all weather.
