Caspian’s Clues - A Scenic Train Ride with a Twist! Sunday May 31, 2026 @ 11:00 am
A new detective has arrived at the Essex Steam Train.
The Essex Steam Train is excited to introduce a new face to the crew aboard our afternoon train rides: Caspian Holmes. As the grandson of Sherlock Holmes, Caspian is carrying on a long lost family tradition by establishing a new chapter of the Bright Eyed Rogue Detective Society (BERDS).
We invite families to join us for a one-hour scenic excursion through the Connecticut River Valley, where the journey is only half the fun. As Caspian moves through the train, passengers will be “recruited” to help solve a simple series of interactive challenges designed to test their observation and instincts.
Don’t just come for the scenery—help solve the mystery. Come find out if you’re the newest recruit BERDS has been looking for.
