Ride to cheer on your favorite runner!  Coach train cars (padded bottom/back bench seats) pulled by a Steam Engine.

Check in at Essex Station: 9:30 am

Board Train at Essex Station: 9:45 am

Depart from Essex Station: 10:00 am. Train will briefly stop at Deep River Station to drop off second leg runners and then continue excursion to Haddam

Train returns to Deep River at 11:25 am to pick up first leg runners. Train will remain stationary at Deep River from 11:25 am - 11:55 am.

Train will return to Essex Station at 12:20 pm

$25.00 per person age 2 and older

• Train Departure from Essex Station: 10:00 am (Trains can not hold for late arriving guests; trains do depart on schedule in coordination with the start of the race)
• $10.00 of each ticket price is a non-refundable, non-transferable processing fee
•  No alcoholic beverages, may be brought aboard the train due to our liquor license. No food or beverages will be available for purchase on the train.
  
• Reservations and payment are required for everyone age 2 and older.
  
• Reservations are non-refundable, but fully transferable ($10.00 per ticket transfer charge applies) with 48-hours notice. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable for late arriving guests and no show guests .
• The Valley Railroad reserves the right to alter equipment, schedule, and menu when necessary. This event does operate in all weather.
